What data we process

We process the data you give us through the quote form on this website: type of work, town, desired timeframe, a message describing the work, your name, telephone number and, if you wish, your email address. If you reach the form from the colour tester on the website, the colour you chose is also sent. The form also includes the language of the page on which you fill it in.

We also process the data you send us by telephone, email or WhatsApp: your name and telephone number, the content of your messages and any photographs or documents you choose to attach.

The data comes directly from you. In addition, as on any website, the hosting provider records technical connection data (such as the IP address) that is needed to provide the service and keep it secure.

Purposes and legal bases

(a) Dealing with your request: replying to you, arranging the visit and preparing the quote. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

(b) Managing the works and invoicing if you hire our services: performing the contract, issuing invoices and complying with tax and commercial obligations. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

(c) Sending you news and offers by email or WhatsApp, only if you tick the corresponding box on the form. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 21 LSSI-CE). You can withdraw it at any time by replying “UNSUBSCRIBE” to any of our messages or by writing to info@decordisseny.com, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before.

Ticking the box for commercial communications is voluntary and does not affect how we deal with your request.

Mandatory data

The type of work, town, name and telephone number are mandatory, as is accepting this privacy policy; they are marked as such on the form. The other fields (timeframe, message and email address) are optional. If you do not provide the mandatory data, we will not be able to reply to your request or prepare the quote.

Retention period

Requests that do not lead to a job: 12 months from your last contact; after that, we delete them.

Customers: for as long as the contractual relationship lasts and, afterwards, for six years (Art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code) and four years for tax purposes (Spanish General Tax Law), duly blocked and available only to judges, courts and public authorities (Art. 32 LOPDGDD).

Commercial communications: until you withdraw your consent.

Recipients and processors

We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties. Access is limited to the providers that supply us with services and act as processors under the contract required by Art. 28 GDPR, and to the bodies to which we are legally required to disclose it:

Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, European Union): hosts this website and receives and stores the data from the form, on servers located in the European Union.

The company’s email provider, which handles the messages we exchange with you.

WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta group): if you message us on WhatsApp, that service is provided by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy, for which it is responsible.

Our tax and accounting advisers, when an invoice is issued, and public authorities, judges and courts where the law so requires.

Google Maps

The map on the Contact page is not loaded until you accept it in the cookie notice or click “Show the map”. If you do, your browser connects to Google Ireland Ltd., which receives your IP address and browser data and may install cookies. You can find out more, and change your choice at any time, in the Cookie Policy. As long as you do not load it, no data is sent to Google.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@decordisseny.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. To protect your data, we may ask you to prove your identity (for example, with a copy of your identity document).

We will reply within one month of receiving your request. If the request is particularly complex, this period may be extended by a further two months, and we will let you know.

If you believe we have not dealt with your rights properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), without prejudice to other remedies.

Automated decisions and profiling

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, nor do we create profiles with your data.

Minors

This website is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data (Art. 7 LOPDGDD). If you are under that age, please do not use the form. If you become aware that a minor has given us their data, write to us at info@decordisseny.com and we will delete it.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or alteration, such as an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricting access to those who need it to deal with your request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to adapt it to changes in the law or in the website. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page and, if the changes are significant, we will let you know prominently.
